The program opens with the sparkling wit of Rossini’s Overture to The Barber of Seville, accompanied by the elegance and youthful exuberance of Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony.  The evening’s centerpiece is Beethoven’s majestic Piano Concerto No. 1, featuring gifted local pianist Emily Jou.
