Mitch D’Odorico Better known as his stage name SubSonix, Is a Canadian Producer, DJ, and songwriter. Growing up in Chilliwack, BC Mitch experimented with various musical genres including metal, country, and reggae until he found his passion of EDM and Djing in 2012. After studying Audio Engineering Mitch quickly went from being a bedroom DJ to Opening for artists such as Mobb Deep, Prada west, Merkules, Snak The Ripper,Neon Steve And Darude. Mitch has Been Producing since 2015 and has had releases under Emengy Records as his previous alias DJ NEKKID and has been releasing Independent records since changing his name to SubSonix in the summer of 2016.

As a teenager, Ricks first passion for music was through the guitar. In high school he built his own fender Strat and found that it just wasnt enough. Putting down the guitar he started going to festivals back in the late 90's, absorbing everything that he could to pick up this new way of making music. After a few years a friend moved into his back room, and with him came 2 tons of producing equipment. This was in 2006, and one night Will passed out at the decks, and Rick took over, figuring it out on his own. Now, 9 years later he is spreading his passion for music on Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. In these short 10 years he has moved from the bars and clubs to hosting his own events around the Nanaimo / Chilliwack area. Always ready for some Ghetto Funk at 5 in the morning, his flow will bounce you right back into the dancefloor, for some heart pumping moments that are guaranteed to blow your socks off!
